A powerful read! This book is a great merging of traditional Celticism and personal experience. I love this book and it has enough intelligence to be a great book for the youth and for the adult as well. I am greatly looking forward to Kristin's next book as it appears that it is the beginning of a series! I am greatly looking forward to MORE! THANKS KRISTIN!

I do not want to give the story up by having a long review. All I have to say is that I bought this book several months ago and I have read it several times. The book just came back to me as I have passed it around to my Pagan friends and they all agree that not only is the story brilliant but the writing is amazing as well! This is a must read for anyone who wants to take a journey into the "other world"! Bravo Kristin for an amazing read!

A Shining Work of Fiction, Fantasy, and Adventure Feb 27, 2009

Terrific story! Descriptive, engaging and suspenseful, with fluid dialogue. Kristin Unkelbach creates a dazzling world full of amazing creatures that are stunning and terrifying, beautiful and frightening. The Otherworld is an enchanted land of magnificent beauty, and reading this book, you're transported right to the center of it. The main character, Chelsie, is sassy and quick. I adore her boundless energy and spontaneous outbursts. There are many wonderful characters in this story, all with such diverse personalities and backgrounds. I think that anyone could jump into the text and get lost. Great for kids who love fantasy and adventure, and really for anybody who loves to read!

Couldn't stop reading!! Feb 24, 2009

I've never written a review before this one and I can honestly say that the pages seemed to turn on their own. The story came to life and I was immediately drawn into it and felt like I was a part of it after reading the first couple of pages. I would definitely recommend this book, especially in these difficult times we are all facing from the economic hardship as a means of escape. If you are looking to get away from your day to day reality and be captivated by a great story with fine imagery than this is the book for you!!! I can't wait for the next installment...
