About The Live Food Factor Oct 25, 2009 This is an amazing book! It is detailed and discussed the different perspectives of being on the raw food path. Even if you do not intend to become a raw fooder, this book will be a good guide of information for you. This is a good investment! Try it :)
Very good health information Oct 13, 2009 I was excited to get this book because of the great reviews already on this website. It was everything I imagined...and thoroughly outlines the benefits of being Vegan.
A "must-have" book about the Raw Food Diet, complete how-to information, inspiring stories and even recipes Oct 12, 2009 It's rare for a book to ever live up to its promises. The "Live Food Factor," however, is one that not only lives up to its billing, it far exceeds it.
The first thing you realize is this book is encyclopedic in scope. There is no doubt this work is "the standard" when it comes to eating raw. Every bit of it reflects the time it must have taken Susan Schenck to research, organize and write out all of the information in a very reader-friendly way. This guidebook offers content ranging from how-to information, mind-blowing facts, incredible stories and practical tips.
My favorite parts of the book simply and clearly explain the scientific reasons why eating raw, living food is so much healthier than consuming cooked or processed foods. It also explains why disease often happens in the body and how it's possible for many raw eaters to recover from serious illness without the help of medical doctors, drugs or other expensive therapies. As a matter of fact, Susan makes a very compelling, completely logical case about wellness that most people in our society today have never heard. Yet, after reading the Live Food Factor, a reader may actually understand more about dietary causes for disease and the impact of nutrition upon the healing process than most medical doctors even realize.
There is no doubt in my mind this publication will help tens of thousands truly understand what eating healthy means ... and offer countless others the tools and resources necessary to help their bodies heal naturally.
Very Informative Oct 11, 2009 I love this book. It is a comprehensive guide to going raw. The presents all sides of the raw food diet. You are left to make your own decisions. It is a big book, though, and is taking me a long time to read.
