The Magic Tutu: Amy Arnaz with Ellen Dickstein (Little Haley Stories)

The Magic Tutu is not so much a children's book as a fabled journey of adventure, love, and kindness. Newcomer Amy Arnaz creates a world full of surprises, sweet exuberance, and a little mystery in this first tale of her new children's series, which shares a strong message about the rewards of patience and forgiveness. Beginning with the birth of a brown eyed, golden-locked ballerina this book follows the birthdays leading up to her seventh celebration when she opens a long-awaited secret surprise from her grandmother.

5Darling book for your little ballerina  May 24, 2007
By M. Walker
My four-year-old little dancer loves this book. I enjoy the sweet relationship between Little Haley and her mother. The story is more than a book about a dancer; it is also a story about love and forgiveness.

5A grand curtsy to Miss Amy!  Jul 30, 2007
By Allison Zehmisch "dollygirl"
I thoroughly enjoyed this book. It is not just a story of ballet, but about growing up to know what is right in your heart. You can just feel the love with which Miss Amy penned this story---love for ballet, for animals, for sharing dear memories of her mother through the characters, and of course, for Little Haley. I hope she publishes many more stories. This was a definite feelgood read. I highly recommend it!

5Darling book  Jul 07, 2007

Would have enjoyed a few more pictures for my 6 year old graddaughter, but we loved the book. I gave it to her after her first dance recital. She said, "I'll keep it forever."
