The Magnificent King of Pasta Jun 16, 2009
By Susan Coriander This is by far one of the best books that I have ever read. To think that it was just written by 10-year-old Jacob Shaw is unbelievable!
I admit that it took some time to really get into it, but by about Part Three or Four, I couldn't put it down. This fantasy explosion was inspiring and intricate, just the type of book I like.
Jacob Shaw is a fantastic author, and I can't wait for his next release!

By Gary Weiss Jacob Shaw is an amazing young author. Writing this book over a number of his short years, he incorporates magic and imagination throughout. Harry Potter fans will enjoy this read. I particularly loved his characters for their goodness and high moral standards. Following Jacob's career as an author will be a treat for me. The Magnificent King of Pasta Sep 18, 2009
By Danny A. Brass Enter into Pastaland and you enter into the labyrinthine mind of ten-year-old author, Jacob Shaw. Pasta is a land steeped in fantasy, where wizardry and magic hold sway. Enter into Pastaland and you enter a realm where sorcerers and kings must always be ready to battle the forces of evil all around them--especially the most evil force of all: Salastro, the onetime monarch of the kingdom, who had ruled with an iron hand. Using all of the magic at their disposal, King William and his son, Daniel, fight desperately to save Pastaland from the clutches of this dethroned madman; and, right up until the final battle in the great cave, Salastro remains intent on regaining control of the kingdom.
Although Jacob Shaw's sweeping epic of Pastaland carries readers to an enchanted world of fantasy and imagination, The Magnificent King of Pasta is far more than just a tale of charms, spells, potions, and supernatural rituals. It is a story of honor, courage, and perseverance in the face of seemingly insurmountable adversity. And, despite his youth, the young author offers some excellent advice on how people should treat one another. Young readers interested in magic and sorcery will certainly enjoy this book, which, hopefully, will help to ignite their own untapped reserves of creativity.
