Simple Truths Mar 14, 2008

When I read this book, I'm reminded of a Grandma Moses painting, the simplest of truths stated simply, naively, but with an elegance that strikes home to the heart, and reminds us of the grace we are given to live on this plane. For that, I give her my deepest thank you.

The Miracle of a Thank You is a calming and soothing book that is full of joy. It is a good read before bed or when the day's coflicts take their toll and you need some perspective. After reading the poems for awhile a sense of joy and peace come over you and the day is back in order. The thank yous in many languages give you a sense of world community and the need for everyone to receive a thank you. The book also puts you in touch with the Powers That Be and helps to restore harmony. I joyfully recommend this book for everyone.

This is such a warm and wonderfully written book. I have given it to several of my friends and it makes a lovely hostess gift. I just open to any page some days to see what comes and it always makes me smile. An added plus is that now I will be able to say thank you anywhere I travel!!
