5More than 2 sides of the coin  Apr 01, 2009
Here is another in the great series of Books By Julian Gill. I have been reading his fantastic reference books on The Hottest Band in the Land...KISS!

If you are a member of the Kiss army, you owe it to yourself to pick up his books. The Kiss Album Focus series is great with an attention to detail and interviews that open up the world of KISS.

They are an invaluable resource for all things Kiss.

"The Other Side of the Coin" is no exception. It fills in parts of Kisstory that are sometimes glossed over, not so here. Interviews with the folks in Kiss's inner circle and the folks who helped build the band. Also are interviews of Charlie Frehley, brother of original Member Ace Frehley, interviews with folks who Played in Peter Criss's short lived band CRISS, co writers and session musicians as well. There is a good amount of Eric Carr info in here as well, from his fellow band members in "The Cellerman". There is even a KISS Family tree included for reference. I always look forward to Mr. Gill's fantastic books, and this goes nicely along side them on myself. As a Kiss fan I am looking forward to more in the future.

5KISSTASTIC!!!  Mar 08, 2009
This is another great KISS compilation from Julian Gill. If you need to know EVERYTHING KISS like I do, this book is a must. It is a perfect compliment to the KISS Album Focus series also written by Julian. The book taps into the many different eras of KISS and touches base with countless numbers of the behind the scene players in world of the "Hottest Band in the Land". The KISS fanatic will not be able to put this book down!!! This book ROCKS!!!
