Worthy Read Jul 24, 2011
By Shell I am not usually one for a historical fiction genre, but was pleasantly surprised when I read it based on a recommendation. I found myself intrigued to the point that I read the whole book in one sitting. It is a short, easy to read book filled with realistic events and dialogue, twists, deception, and mystery. Ms. Waggoner obviously researched historical events and embellished her story with the use creative imagination to create a story that keeps you interested through to the end. I hope to see her continued talents in future books. Well worth the read!

By C. Morris Very entertaining! A great and quick read that you don't want to put down. I would definitely recommend, even if you would not normally read "historical" novels.
Entertaining with vivid imagery Sep 11, 2008
By K. Ross Fantastic piece of historical fiction. The characters come to life in a setting that jumps of the page into the reader's imagination.
Thumbs Up For "The Pharaoh's Secret" May 24, 2007
By Erin Kant "The Pharaoh's Secret" is a wonderful blend of adventure, mystery, action, and romance- making for a delightful read. Vivid descriptions of characters and settings give the reader the feeling of actually strolling among the pyramids and along the banks of the Nile. Cleopatra is portrayed so richly that whenever she walks into a scene, the pages start to heat up. I thoroughly enjoyed this book and can't wait to see what author Lisa Suzette Waggoner comes out with next....
