Hamada Sensei would have been very proud of this amazing book. Master Messina, has well over 40 years expirience in the study and practice of the Martial Arts, specillay the art of Karate-Do. This book leaves the non-sense behind and goes right to the point. No fancy pictures, no vogues theory, no historical claim of karate heritage lineage.
Just as the title says The Physics of Karate-Do, it's a book that explains the scientific formula of body movement. On this book you will learn the physics formula on how to calculate the amount of Kinetic Energy one must produce for specific body movements. So-Shihan Messina, brings you so much knowledge in this book that perhaps it will take a life time of pratice for a person to come to understand these deep teachings of Karate-Do. The biography of Master Matsunaga Mamoru who is a living legend in Judo and of course the biography of Master Hamada Hiroyuki, whom is not well known in North America, and through this book Master Messina brings these legends to our attention.
To the reader you need to understand that Messina is from the Dominican Republic and his mother language is Spanish. However, a great effort was put through to pass his teachings onto English. I am pretty sure you will definitely enjoy and learn a lot from this book. I am actually placing another order of two more books so that I can present it to some of my fellow instructors.

Regards,

Liriano
Sandan Okinawa Goju Ryu.
