A twisted tail but a wonderful book May 19, 2009 I absolutely loved this book!!! It is a short story and could be read in a matter of hours. However I suggest reading a chapter at a time, maybe 2. It is a powerful book and so much to soak in and think about. I have read a lot of books over the years and more times than not, I can figure out the ending. But not this book...it kept me guessing until the very last page. It is a page turner and if you feel you have to read it al the way through without stopping, be prepared to reread it. This is a book I will read time and time again. At the very base it is a battle of good and evil. It challenges the mind to be opened to things in this world that exist, but things we don't usually run across on a daily basis. I cannot say enough good about this book. My next goal is to find more books by Mr. Stoppa and only hope that he continues to write more books and that they only get longer.

This little novella is a fast, entertaining read right to the finish Oct 13, 2008 Quoting from the back cover:
"The Plantation is a book about the ancient battle between good and evil. Author, Frank Stoppa takes the reader into a world of hedonistic pleasures where the line between right and wrong becomes blurred by love, passion, lust, and greed. The protagonist, Samuel faces the battle of his life: to reclaim not only his soul, but the soul of the love of his life, Juliet. Samuel and Juliet take a journey into a world of voodoo rituals and unimaginable depravity that will cause them to question their faith, their beliefs and ultimately, their place in eternity."
This little novella is a fast, entertaining read right to the finish, reminiscent of an Ambrose Bierce tale. Frank J. Stoppa has an active imagination, and I did enjoy it; however, my one constructive criticism would be that it be professionally edited as there are more than a few grammatical errors.

Phenomenal Oct 18, 2006 Wow! This book kept me on the edge of my seat. It's definitely a cliff hanger. Couldn't wait to read the ending. Hope Mr. Stoppa decides to do a sequel.
"Good Read" Apr 09, 2005 I found this book to be a good read, meaning, it was intriging, suspenceful, and thought provoking. When I got near the end, I could not put it down until I finished it. The authors insite, to the dark side, was amazing.
The Plantation: A Twisted Tale from a Demented Mind Apr 06, 2005 This is an excellent story. The twist and turns kept me on the edge of my seat. I read it from cover to cover without putting it down. I couldn't wait to turn the page to see what would happen next. Truly this is a tale is from a demented mind, but thats what makes it all the more exciting. I cannot wait for the sequel.
