2Pretty Boring & Predictable  Sep 16, 2008
Unfortunately this is not one of McKenna's better stories. It starts out with the bored, rich, neglected once beautiful "politician's wife" who is now ignored by her husband, son and even the cleaning lady. So wonder what's going to happen when she gets a blackmail letter in the mail about some modeling she did back in college that was slightly erotic??? Well of course she's going to go meet with her blackmailer and allow him to take even more incriminating pictures of her, have some degrading sex, group sex, woman-on-woman, a touch of bondage and pretty soon she just loves being the company slut and walking around naked for her blackmailer and of course the more sex the better. Not really a big surprise. Even the sex scenes were pretty wam/bam thank you mam standard. It would have been nice to have just a little bit more of a believable plot or at the very least more creativity on the sex scenes.

4Suspend disbelief and enjoy  Jul 17, 2007
While it's probably true that no woman would react the way Susan does in this book, I found it far more enjoyable if one simply suspends disbelief and lets the story carry you along. Not McKenna's best work, but I found the sex scenes to be erotic, exciting and highly readable. He has a way of making you root for the female protagonist even as a whole lotta "stuff" is happening to her. Well worth the investment!
