Chicago Lisa Oct 24, 2008 Thought the book was great! I am normally a romantic fiction reader but the storyline was engrossing and kept me hooked until the end. It made me think a lot more than my usual reads do. I can't wait to read the next one.
great read Koshak Jul 13, 2008 Excellent technology application with a can't put it down hook after three pages of reading. 1st book ?? can't wait to see what this unique author comes up with next!
Tight Write Jan 28, 2008 Very good a mix of Bio family meets doomsday scenario. Not your average read. Different. Get a mug of coffee and burn a day off. Come on. Are you just going to keep reading the top rack at the checkout counter? Only the twelve authors who get all the money? Of course not. Try this one on. I read it over a long weekend and enjoyed.
Great Sci-Fi Thriller May 04, 2007 Characters are well developed and believable. Interesting plot yet thought-provoking as to how the author addresses the internal conflicts one goes through in the advancement/nonadvancement of technology - does a person's drive in helping mankind truly help or hurt? Koshak does a great job explaining the techno stuff in layman's term, easy to follow and to understand by all. Great for those traveling or on vacation who want a book to read to pass by the time.
Reads like a great Michael Crichton novel... Nov 15, 2006 I thoroughly enjoyed this sci-fi adventure thriller. It harkens back to the good days when Michael Crichton still wrote intelligent, fast-paced and just-this-side-of-believable sci-fi fiction. Mr. Koshak has succeeded wonderfully in capturing that same "page-turner" anticipation, laced with an undercurrent of philosphy and spirituality.
I would recommend this book to anyone who enjoys that "Smart Sci-Fi" genre, and especially if you shudder to imagine the consequences if any madman actually prevailed with the tecnology that seems way too realisitc for comfort.
