4Fun, somewhat educational and Perfect for Sailor kids  Nov 28, 2006
By Niko "lavrys"
This is a great little book for children learning to read. The story involves an imaginary pirate and a duel on his ship. It reads fast and fun and it is quite suspensefull too.. my daughter loves it.

If you are a sailing family, as are we, the particular attraction is that through the story, all the main parts of a sailing ship are visited (bow/stern/mast/boom etc) and they are even illustrated in a cute diagram in the end. So your kids will at least have the sailing lingo down-packed, before your next cruise..
