The Redeemer: It Is Written

Michael McRain has it all: Harvard Law graduate, former Marine, on his way up in the dog-eat-dog world of high-stakes law. When he catches the attention of a highly secretive lawyer mafia existing under the radar and with the blessings of the U.S. government, his life takes a very dangerous turn. Consumed with guilt for a past he cannot change, and influenced by the adoration of a deeply religious autistic sister, McRain nevertheless skates along…until government assassins, an illicit love affair, and the mystery of Jimmy Hoffa’s death pull him like a giant magnet into a world polarized from all he has ever imagined. Based on the author’s own legal history and his defense of a major union figure―all the way to the Supreme Court―Mark Moran’s The Redeemer: It Is Written promises edge-of-your-seat suspense and brings corruption and greed to entirely new levels of fictional exploitation and adventure. (Copies of government lawyer mafia documents displayed after the story.)

4enjoyable read  Dec 08, 2009

This is not the type of book I usually read, however, I am glad I did. The book has alot going on and I couldn't wait for the "train wreck" to happen. I will read it again, just incase I missed anything the first time. I could really relate to the catholic storyline. Excellent job Mike Moran.

5TERRIFIC BOOK  Jul 13, 2010

Terrific book by first time author Mark Moran! He really captured your attention and you felt as though you were pulled into the character's lives as they struggled to overcome their own demons during those trying times. Great job! I can't wait for his next exciting book to come out. Hope we don't have to wait too long.

5Great Read!  Jan 23, 2010

Highly recommend you grab a copy of this - it will not disappoint. Mark Moran does a terrific job developing interesting and intriguing characters, and weaving them into a multi-layered and riveting storyline. In addition to pure entertainment, Mark offers his readers a positive venue to reflect on and confront our all-to-common experiences of guilt and regret, and to recognize and embrace the enabling power of faith and love. Mark's writing is remarkable in its clarity and believability. Though he confesses to `basing' the story on his personal experiences, I would be challenged to separate fiction from fact.

4Intriguing and Exciting page turner  Sep 24, 2009
By Eric B.
The author grabs you right from the start and never lets go. I can still hear my wife yelling "HONEY ITS 3AM COME TO BED". If this is what the author's first book is like, I can't wait to see what he does next. The characters are well developed, I was cheering and crying(a little anyway) for the "good guys" and repulsed by the "bad guys". In this case repulsed is a good thing it means the author did his job well.
If you like fast paced exciting books don't pass this one up.
