The Restoration and The Transformation: From Genesis to Revelation: A New Understanding of the Messianic Kingdom

After nearly 2,000 years, evangelical theologians remain deadlocked over the existence of a future 1,000-year earthly messianic kingdom (the restoration) before the end of the world on the last day and the beginning of the new heavens and new earth (the transformation). Christians agree that Jesus of Nazareth is the Jewish Messiah, but amazingly, they cannot agree on the nature of his messianic kingdom. The new eschatology (theory of end times) presented in this book finally solves this biblical puzzle. Postrestoration asserts that Christ establishes a literal 1,000-year restoration on this earth when he binds Satan after the tribulation, exercises his reign from his throne in heaven, and resurrects his saints into mortal bodies in the “first resurrection” to reign with him. After (post) this restoration, he returns again on the last day, when the world is destroyed, to rapture and transform the saints into immortal bodies, and take them to the heaven for eternity.
