Great book! I need to know what happens next! Nov 24, 2009
This book is about a person who is a ghost and a hero! I myself love history and finding old stuff. When Nicki finds a very ond book I knew it was going to mean something important but I didn't expect that the book would be the property of such an interesting heroic person. The end of this book has me needing to know what is next. I can tell that something really big is going to happen in the next installment and I can't wait to find out. I have a few hunches but I am not sure which is right and I would love to find out now! This book is so good that once I started reading it I really didn't stop until I finished it! Which only took me four days.
Very Interesting book! May 03, 2009
I live in the city and found that Nicki out in the dark in forest was scary to me like it was to her, but she is a pretty brave girl. She was from the city too and is now getting used to living on a lake in the country. Her and her brother have to ride there bikes for miles just to get some candy but that turns out to be a lot of fun. The houses in Nicki's neighborhood are old and interesting and she is faced with a ghost! This ghost even knows her name. She has another friend he is from the previous book and he is a ghost, but he is a good ghost and he helps her to face this trouble making ghost. That chapter gets suspenseful but you can't get yourself to put the book down in that chapter until you see if she is OK! Then there's the map and the treasure she is searching for, that kept me reading too! If I say any more I will be giving too much away! This is a great book!!!
Mysterious adventure! May 03, 2009
This book is a sequel to The Adventures of Nicki in Wolf Creek which ended with a cliff hanger. When that book ended I NEEDED to know what was going to happen next so my mom ordered me this book.
This adventure starts out in the very first chapter. You solve the cliff hanger from the last book and your mind is now trying to solve the mystery that is now on Nicki's shoulders. You also do get to know the characters from the first book a little better and meet a new friend, Shelly who is very helpful and fun. I started to notice that Brent was becoming pals with Nicki and he is a great help to her while Zach helps Nicki solve a scary problem that she was dealing with and I won't give that away!
This is a great book if you like ghosts and adventure and now I want to get the third book!

I read the previous book "The Adventures of Nicki in Wolf Creek"! It's a great book I even did a book report on it for girl scouts! I now finished this book and I think it was even better! It picks up where we left off with Zach needing Nicki to accomplish a daunting mission. There are twists and turns and Nicki has a new friend, Shelly. Shelly is funny and a good pal to Nicki. Nicki has to keep some of her ghosts adventures secret from Shelly. Nicki. Nicki handles a terrifying encounter, one that made me nervous but I will not tell you if she accomplishes her mission but I will say that things are going to get even more treacherous in The Tomb of Mysteries!!!

I didn't put this book down for three days until I finished reading the whole thing! I can't get enough of Zach he is my favorite and I think that Constance has gotten worse then even in book one! I cried when Nicki cried and my heart filled with joy when she triumphed! I must admit I was scared for Chelsea and I will not give away the suspense of how that all played out! But it was a nail biter!!! On another note, Nicki's best friend Shelly made me laugh she had a great personality. I look forward to book three....does anyone know if that is out yet?
