The Secret Daydream

The Secret Daydream is pegged to be one of the best known books for its age group of the century. The book uniquely is geared towards a younger audience-early to pre-teen and is beautifully illustrated to bring the reader into the story. Disguised as a young person’s book the simplicity of the story allows adults as well as their children to gently think twice about their dreams and goals. Thoughtful and intelligent, this fable, for the entire family, promotes a channel of communication that fosters an ambitious outlook on what children want out of life and how to achieve their dreams.

5Growing up passionate full of possibility  Jan 24, 2008
By Warren Strand
I read this book with my eight year old niece and we both learned something. It was a beautiful story, and the illustrations just kept us hanging on to every page. Its a story that teaches you not only to believe in yourself but how to obtain your dreams and desires. It is written for children but all adults would benefit from it as well. I especially liked the authors note at the end. "You can become or do anything you want if you believe in yourself and don't give up. Don't be afraid to try. With every try you learn. Don't let your fears keep you small. Find your passion. Find the gifts within and live your dreams." I wish some one would have told me that when I was young. Life sure could have been easier to understand.
