5Bound to be the next Cult Classic!  Nov 27, 2008
By Gina
The Secret of the Dogs is incredible. It is a page turner that you won't stop turning. Pooky, Diggy and Ms. Quickfeet and Leroy are very funny, and gel very well. You will love these characters, for they are so human, even though they are dogs. I hope there is a sequal in the making, because I enjoyed this so much that I read it twice. Most books I put away in the shelves after reading them once, but not this one. I'll read it again, and again, and again. I'll let my kids read it. I'll let my friends read it. I'll even let my mother read it. The book is a classic. Rich Douglas, please turn this into a series!

5the secret life of dogs  Nov 28, 2009
By S. Young
I just read this book again with my 10 year old grandson. I say again because it is one of our favorite books. Anyone who loves animals, dogs in particular will love this book. The tale is told from the dog's point of view, and smarter dogs you have never met. This book would be a perfect stocking stuffer for any reader, and tweens will reallly love it. It is a story filled with love, trust and hope. I hope there is a second story in this talented writer.

1Worst Book Ever  Feb 05, 2009
By jeanbean
This book isn't like any novel I've read, either. It is rife with grammatical errors and misspellings and when I looked to see who in the world edited it, I wasn't too surprised to see no one had. I commend the author for self-publishing, but the story has no action and makes little sense. The eight glowing reviews are written by first-time reviewers and I'm just amazed that eight people managed to get through this book.
