Moving from complex to simple and from difficult to easy Mar 22, 2008
By Jaco Laubscher This book really achieved the almost impossible task of capturing the essence of management within a few pages.
A lot has been said and written about management, but in this book the seemingly complex subject of what management is all about, is made really simple.
If the title "Management for Dummies" was not takes, I would have suggested it the author.
What was really valuable to me is the fact that a lot of the things I attributed to my "gut-feeling" is clearly verbalise in the book, making it a great reference to use when you are not quite sure exactly what to do next.
I enjoyed reading the book and would recommend it to any young manager that would like to make sense of all the various loose standing subjects taught in most MBA courses.
This book certainly helped me, to paste together a bigger picture for myself, out of the various subjects like: Project Management, TOC, TQM, 6-Sigma, Product Development, Marketing Management, People Management, Financial Management, Culture Management, etc.
