Simple, Informative and Revealing Nov 10, 2009 Although there are not many books about the Lenormand Oracle in English. I highly recommend this because its simple to understand, easy to follow and the system Sylvie introduces is truly workable and give good results. I seldom bother to write reviews but I must write one for this because I like it very much and feel it was worth the time and money spend.

So far so good Oct 30, 2009 I haven't used the 'no lay-out' system very much yet. To be honest, just only once to test it out and to describe someone I already know. Guess what? It came up with a very exact description of this person!! Quite impressive, I must say.
I also like the 10 psychic commandments at the end of the book; they are valuable and protective guidelines for any psychic apprentice to stick to and which are to be taken seriously, I think.
I'm still studying the meaning of the cards from this book and will definitely do more readings using this 'no lay-out' system in the future.
I use the no.194115 Piatnik Mlle Lenormand cards. They're beautiful with no text on them.

It Can Be Useful. Sep 29, 2009 This book is useful only for the 36 pack deck. If you are using the real, 54 card Lenormand deck (Grand Jeu de Mlle. Lenormand), this book is worthless.

Secrets of the Lenormand Oracle Sep 09, 2009 The information about the Lenormand Oracle deck has been hard to find (in English) until now. This book very clearly explains the meanings of each card and offers multiple suggestions about how to find your own technique for using them.

It's good but with some draw backs. Jun 24, 2009 It is a good book, yet a lot of controversy surrounds the method and card interpretations. The writing is a little(!) disjointed and the reading method is good - very good - but not well presented. The method of the author is taken up and expanded and explained and clarified on a Tarot Forum. If you are willing to go to the forum and read/study with 'course' notes then you will do well.
Bear in mind that a lot of the authors interpretations as found in this book relate to those who live a good life in L.A., those who are foolish enough to hire a life-coach. In other words, you'll find yourself having to rework her meanings down a notch to suit the common person in the street.
But as for me, and for quite a few others, the Treppner and the Britta Lenormand courses are the better option.
It is a good book, as I've said. I don't regret buying it. But I will be pursuing other material (available to buy as electronic pdf documents) online, and browse through the many wonderful blogs which deal with Lenormand readings.
