A Great Thriller! Feb 27, 2010
By F. Striout
"Thrill Seeker"
I've recently read this novel and found it to be very well written, exciting and funny at times. I found that the relationship between the characters and the comparison between Thomas Dewitt and the terrorist Abdul were very profound. I fully understood what the writer was trying to say by the title, "The Seed". Here we have two people in two different lives both losing the ones they love because of acts of violence. Thomas loses his wife Megan and Abdul loses his wife and children both because of the seed of anger that started the war on terror. The novel actually made me stop and think of just how many of these seeds are out there and what can we do to change things and stop all this violence? I like the novel. Very well done. A great page turner and found myself unable to put it down. I even came back late from lunch because I forgot what time it was while reading the novel. Great job! I look forward to reading more from Heath Fox and am looking forward to the release of The Art of Execution. I found the authors website to be creative, imaginative and pretty darn cool! Read The Seed if your looking for a great thriller novel that keeps it's promise of thrills!

Not That Great Feb 05, 2010
By T. Trego I personally found 'The Seed' to be very lightweight. There was not a lot of character development in my opinion. There was an attempt at it, but that failed. Ultimately, I found myself not really caring about the characters. The dialogue between characters was downright stupid and unbelievable. The only thing this book had going for it, in my opinion, was 'almost' an interesting plot. The areas of the story that had detail wasnt interesting and the interesting areas of the story had no detail. Half of the way through the book, I truly wondered if it was even really in print. I thought I had stumbled on a Kindle book that was only out in 'digital'. I didnt think that any publishing company would invest the money to produce a paper version. I was sure that it had never seen a professional editor! I read the book about 3/4 of the way through hoping it would develop into something and finally put it down without finishing it, when I realized that it really was not going to get better. I have not stopped reading a book before finishing in over 25 years, but I couldnt struggle through this one any longer. You might think 'gosh, I wish this guy wouldnt hold back and let me know what he really thinks about the book', so.......IT REALLY ISNT ANY GOOD!!!!!!!!!!!!!!!!
