The Soul Singer

Noah Gladney wants to sing. He has the talent and the songs. But does he have the strength to revisit the painful memories that are housed in his music? Can he learn to separate his songs from their inspirations? If he can, he is sure to become a star. But will the journey back through his torn soul kill him or make him stronger? Follow Noah as he tries to achieve a lifelong dream, while searching for love and support in the same cold world that has frozen his heart. You'll never listen to music the same way again.

4The Soul Singer  Jul 27, 2002

Despite the fact that there is no descripton of this novel and the price is listed incorrectly, I ventured out and chose this one anyway. I was moved by the title and cover. The story supports the beauty of both.

I enjoyed this debut novel that made my soul sing. Even made my feet tap to the beat of the heart of this novel. Take a chance and get this interesting read.

4Life imitating art  Nov 18, 2003
By Rodney Malcolm Hannah
Being a Chicago native I could also visualize the imagery as the story unfolded. There is a real life imitating art feeling about this story. The Soul Singer grabbed you from the opening chapter taking you thru a whirlwind of life like, art like scenarios and didn't let go. I loved it!
A job very well done.
