The Spirit Healer was a fantastic read! Fantasy isn't even my typical genre, but Karin Parker is such a beautiful and talented writer, I was immediately captivated by the story and couldn't put it down. Would highly recommend to my friends who love fantasy or anyone that enjoys a well-written page turner with enchanting descriptions. I can't wait for her next book... Karin is the next Juliet Marillier or Jean Auel in my opinion!

Full of imagination, the Spirit Healer sweeps the reader into a another "world" full of danger, lore, love, magic, and mystery. I immediately became engaged in this book and couldn't put it down until I finished the last page. The human relationships are intricate and complex, often illustrating the "darker" side of human emotion and connection. Good and evil are at odds with one another as Ahnya not only battles others but also herself, giving us insight about the realistic internal and external battles we all face in our everyday lives. This book is not just for fantasy lovers, but also for those who simply enjoy a good book. Get your copy today!

What a storyteller!! Ms. Parker is a mesmerizing author indeed. The book quickly pulls you into a beautifully laid out and intriguing plot that has many pertinent messages regarding nature and how we need to regard it. I'm sure this book will be much appreciated by a wide age range. The characters beg for another book to be written.

I loved this book! Parker is a talented writer with a real sense of the romantic suspense story! The Spirit Healer is a touching story of a lonely woman in the wilderness. You'll love it if you admire the Native American reverence for nature. Also, it's fantasy elements make it an exciting adventure story with characters you'll love and some you'll love to hate! ha A real page turner--you'll be sorry when it's over.
