I had the privilege of meeting the author recently. Her love of animals and teaching is very evident. The book will captivate young and old and is perfect for animal lovers. She uses rich language that will keep all entertained. As a teacher myself, I'm already planning lessons for this book.

This is a charming story, full of rich language. It will entertain children (and adults) of all ages. I thoroughly enjoyed it. My only complaint is that I wanted the photos, which are absolutely enchanting, to be larger because, as a teacher, I will want to share this story as a read-aloud with my children for years and years. This one is a winner.
