this book knocked my socks off!! literally Feb 27, 2007 Never has there been such a comprehensive book that explained in detail everything I needed to know about bringing my game to the next level in order to transition from Highschool tennis to the Upper leaugues of college..no matter if you plan to attend Division 1, 2, 3 or community college this gives you an inside look at the training and necessities you need to make it , even in the pros!!! love the book and would like to see more insighful writings from this brilliant author!thanks!
Very helpful Aug 11, 2006 This book is different than most books. The author details the important things about college tennis and progressing as a complete tennis player rather than blab on about things we already know. He brings up very important points that can apply to almost any type of tennis player. The ideas that the author portrays are applicable not only to college tennis but also developing through the professional rankings. The discipline, hard work and concentration regimes that can be acquired from this book, if read seriously, is what every tennis player can use in their game. I am an avid reader of tennis books and this one is right up there with the best.
Unbelievable book!!! Jul 03, 2006 This is one of the best books ive ever read in my whole entire life. It helped me big time with my game, especially now that i go to college, because it is so much harder than high school. Im actually interested in meeting the author because he seems like a very smart person. I would strongly recommend this book to those tennis players who are thinking in going pro. If you want to play like Rafael Nadal or Roger Federer read this book. Amazing. Ramon Perez
A must-read for all tennis players Jun 21, 2006 This book offers a very informative and honest review about college tennis from a source that has experienced the sport on every level there is. The author's vast international background will allow any reader, anywhere in the world to connect with his personal struggles and ultimate success. This will, in turn, serve as an educational tool for all tennis players looking to participate in tennis on the collegiate level. In fact, due to Zaher's articulate writing style and clear representation of his book, it is highly recommended for all athletes whom are preparing to transition into collegiate athletics in their respective sports.
