The Twelve Days of Cancer: A Husband's Journal

This is a husband’s journal about his wife’s discovery of breast cancer, and her subsequent surgery and recovery. It begins with a look at how cancer has been all around them through many phases of their lives. It recounts the husband’s experience of helping his wife through her treatment and recovery, recording the day by day steps taken from the discovery of the cancer, through the surgery itself and the subsequent radiation treatments. It’s a husband’s perspective at what it is like to be on the sidelines, watching your wife fight this disease, while trying to support her in every way he can. This is a wife’s story through her husband’s eyes, revealing many of the emotions they experienced as they faced this challenge together. It lets you know; crying in your car is OK.
