A Thrilling Story With a Deeper Message May 03, 2010
By Ila France Porcher
"author of My Sunset Rendezvous"
The Viral Solution seems at first to be another great, action-packed thriller, and so subtely does Rino Di Stefano lead his readers on, that it isn't until well into the plot that the hidden meaning of the work becomes clear.
Writing in a friendly, informal style, Mr. Stephano lays out an extraordinary panorama in which the very principles forming the structure of our society, and the protection of the individual, come into question. It leaves the reader wondering in the end, about the real play of evil versus good in our world.
If you are looking for a riveting read, its a good one!

A story of evil, and those willing to resist it, recommended Dec 07, 2008
By Midwest Book Review Evil doesn't play by the rules, sick twisted people will do anything to get what they want to do done. "The Viral Solution" tells the story of several crusaders who dared to stand in the face of a religious powered and zealous corporation. Librarians, professors, their families and others stand up to the vicious business, which has little shame in simply using murder to silence its detractors. "The Viral Solution" is a story of evil, and those willing to resist it, recommended.

Viral Solution Jul 04, 2010
By Ray Barnds Rino Di Stefano has created a fantasy using significant events in world history beginning at the close of the twentieth century and into the 21st Century, to establish the chronology of events as they unfold in the story. A dying mans discarded briefcase and note book contain clues leading to a secret international conspiracy. A naïve Graduate Student finds the briefcase and compulsively attempts to follow the trail of clues to understand the motivation for the extreme secrecy surrounding a conservative corporation claiming ownership of the secrets documented in the notebook. Those seeking to reveal the secret and those suspected of falling privy to its existence are eliminated until the story reaches its logical conclusion.

Vacation Read Jul 01, 2010

"Tony Garnett - "The Seductions of Lucy Foster""
Choosing what to take to read on the beach this Summer?
Well, it probably will not be too mind stretching. But it needs to be intriguing. A plot with enough twists to keep the pages turning. An innocent hero, in this case an university librarian, who could easily be you. A shocking criminal conspiracy with a topical edge. A collection of ruthless, murderous villains. Jeopardy, action, suspence. A race to stop a deadly epidemic. And steamy, sunny, treacherous Florida.
If this is waht you are looking for, take The Viral Solution. Rino de Stefaano's thriller will go down smoothly, like the martini in your hand, as you relax on your vacation.
All in all, enough to forget work altogether.
An entertaining read Jan 05, 2011

I enjoyed the pace of this story, with its background of an international conspiracy. I did feel the characters could be a bit more developed, I never really managed to get to grips with the lead, Dempsy, and couldn't see where he was going or what - besides the obvious plotline - drove him. OK, that is my view, it certainly doesn't detract from the pace or the range of this story. The shadowy 'Temple' organisation is rather along the lines of Ian Fleming's 'SPECTRE' but without the white suited Dr and his Persian Cat! The author has succeeded in creating a suitably threatening global 'bad guy' organisation without some of the cliches and keeps the pace moving rapidly.
Its a good read to take on a long flight or for a relaxing holiday where you don't intend to do much more than soak up some warmth.
I certainly recommend this for the exciting pace.
