synrthesis Oct 04, 2009
By Roberta D. Bennett This book is a synthesis of Bibical and cultural history of religion that encourages the reader to respect our differences or we may return to another lifetime to live them. The case studies that this research indicates form a compelling opinion of the validity for reincarnation.

Building the Case Aug 20, 2009
By Marion J. Kincaid This book has an extraordinary amount of information, covering historical, scientific, and spiritual perspectives. Quotes from Jesus himself saying to his disciples that "he [John the Baptist] is Elijah" (Matthew ll:13-15) is part of the opening pages. The author cites the scientific work of Ian Stevenson, M.D., "Twenty cses suggestive of reincarnation" and uses his methodology to apply to Biblical characters. The main focus is the many identical traits Elijah and John the Baptist have (clothing, speaking ability, wilderness experts, etc.). Other personalities, such as Herod, Herodias, and Solame are also featured. Get ready for the Captain's high seas adventure, his scholarship is impeccable.

Fanciful Aug 18, 2009

"Education in how to look things up"
A book that claims that the Baha'i Faith teaches a belief in reincarnation gives the book questionable credentials (see 'Abdu'l-Baha's "Some Answered Questions" for a clear authoritative statement that the Baha'i Faith does not teach reincarnation). It is also extremely difficult to find reincarnation favored anywhere in the Bible or Qur'an.
