The White Paper's Progeny Jun 19, 2007 The White Paper's Progeny is an enthralling view of our society and its legal system with many subtle and sinister implications.
Told through various members of a high-end law firm it is substantial and substantive in quality and depth while being both challenging and most enjoyable.
In short, once the reader starts with the fascinating prologue the hooks are set and reading this intriguing tale in large gulps is a compelling necessity.
Finally, the quality and style of the writing is beyond first rate- it is of a superior vintage.
Loved it in Indianapolis Jan 30, 2007 I thoroughly enjoyed this book. As a lawyer, I read books about the legal system with skepticism and cynicism because, in most cases, it just doesn't happen that way in real life. In this book, however, the author weaves a compelling story about a White Paper which, if true, would fundamentally change the legal system as we know it. It left me wondering, could a White Paper really exist? For anyone who likes a legal thriller, with a touch of romanticism along the way, I would highly recommend this book.
A highly original, intelligent and intriguing story Jan 23, 2007 The White Paper's Progeny is a highly original, intelligent and intriguing story. It pulls you in from the very beginning and makes it nearly impossible to put the book down. I stayed up later than intended several nights as the conclusion of each chapter compelled me to continue to the next. While those in the legal profession particularly will appreciate and enjoy all the story's legal nuances, anyone who loves legal thrillers will love this book. It is a great story that will leave you guessing until the very end (and leave you wanting more).
