5Page After Page of Hate Speach  Nov 12, 2010
By C. Daniele
After reading War by Sebastian Junger, which told the story of American Soldiers living and fighting in Afghanistan, I came across The World According to Al Qaeda, which is filled with quotes from Osama Bin Laden, Ayman al-Zawhiri, Saif al-Adel, and many others. This book really helped me understand the mindset of the Al Qaeda leadership. There's some great quotes about freedom, democracy, and of course former president Bush.

One quote that really grabbed my attention was when Abdul Aziz al-Muqrin made comments about who should be attacked and in what order. Abdul starts off by saying, "the primary targets should be Jews and Christians who have important status in the Islamic countries." He then goes on to suggest they attack American Jews, then Israeli Jews, and then Christians. At one point he even calls for killing the Spanish, Austrialians, Canadians, and Italians.

I was also surprised to see the author, Brad K. Berner, didn't include his own opinions. Instead, he gives you raw quotes, with no bias or spin added. It's page after page of anti-jew & anti-american, and anything-non-muslim hate speach.

5Excellent book.  Mar 08, 2006
By Luis Garcia "Luis Garcia"
The book helps understand the ideology of Al Qaeda. Great research and the book organization is excellent. Understanding Al Qaeda is the only way to stop them.
