Through a combination of fascinating illustrations, Sarah's The Year the Art Stopped shows the progression of self taught art expression, independently done. At the age of six years, Sarah began her interest and engagement in art. Her depictions convey some advanced ability in relating emotion and expressions. It seemed the art would provide a lifetime of enjoyment for her, but it incrementally diminished upon her worsening autism at ten years of age.
