The Best Book for a Child AND Yourself! Apr 14, 2010
By David Lindenbaum Watch Video Here: http://www.amazon.com/review/RC0XENR91Z5AH I absolutely LOVE this book! I feel like it should be in urban outfitters or something b/c the pics are so hip and retro.
Originally I purchased it to read to my niece, but I found myself learning more about Yiddush than any other time I have ever tried.
Highly recommend getting this!

great book for children to share with adults Nov 12, 2009
By josephine w I read yiddish words that I haven't thought of in many years. Moishe's history is fascinating and yiddish is not such a mystery to me any longer. I bought this book to share with my children but will definitly buy more books to give to my nieces and nephews for Chanukah. Great book!

great to share with children Nov 11, 2009
By Ronnie this book is an easy book to understand and read. i had so much fun reading and teaching my children and grandchildren. the yiddish phrases are wonderful and can be used to keep yiddish spoken from generation to generation. this would be a great gift for one of the eight nights of chanukah!

The perfect gift for new parents Nov 09, 2009
By Peter F This book really is the perfect gift for new or expecting parents, especially for the holidays. Not only is it an interesting story of one man's journey to the United States, but it is also fun to finally use and learn Yiddish words i've heard before but never knew the meaning of!
