I had not realized the many ways to express love Oct 26, 2006

I read this book with my teen daughter. It was easy to read but yet unusually personal on how the words just touch your mind and heart, as if there were hidden treats in every poem just for you to discover. I would read some of the love poems over again and find a complete new message each time.
I thought the illustrations were pleasant and created the mood of the poems quite well. It seems to cover all aspects of my interests from life, love and beliefs. Very refreshing and very comforting, as if you were back in the old days where words were more romantic and carefully placed to suit your own needs.
It's the type of book you want to read when you feel the urge to be in a quiet room, sitting by a comfy, warm fireside with a hot cup of cocoa. A definite plus!
