A thought provoking read Jul 05, 2009

I'm so glad that Fred took time out to write about the things he wished he'd known -- As I read it, I found myself nodding in agreement. If you can't get your kid to read it, use parts of it as discussion starters (kind of like hiding prunes in chocolate cake). They'll never know what hit them!

Extraordinary blessing Jun 08, 2009

Imagine sitting down with a truly wise friend who cares deeply for you and is willing to share what he has seen on his own life journey without a shred of arrogance. Then, imagine that this same wise friend has a great sense of humor. You will leave this conversation enriched, in stitches and maybe even a bit wiser.
This is the experience I had in reading Mr. Witt's truly wonderful if not remarkable book. So glad a friend of mine turned me on to this book!

Very organized, easy read! Jun 07, 2009

I loved this book! It was a very easy read, when I was done, I made my 14 year old read it. Hopefully it helps her to understand my perspective, and she takes some of the lessons and puts them to use.

Must read for every parent! Jun 05, 2009
By K. Smith The book is relevant and insightful. In today's busy world, it is easy to miss some of these lessons. I appreciated being reminded of life's lessons and ways to pass them on to my children. The book's format makes it easy to read and refer back to parts you want to reread. Also, of all the books I've read, this is the most recent.
