A Definite Page Turner!!!!!!!! Nov 19, 2007
Excellent Book!!! Diane Singleton opens up her life in this book and although she had some very, very tough times, she pushed through all of the troubles and hardships because she believed in her heart that she could...no make that.....SHE WOULD accomplish whatever she set out to do no matter what!! If you are facing any kind of troubles, hardships, obstacles and/or haters, when you are finished reading this book, you will come away with the same satisfaction of knowing that you can accomplish whatever is in your heart to do as long as you don't give up!!!!!!

Outstanding Read -- Very Moving Nov 15, 2007
This is a deeply personal account of a young woman's journey from a near perfect childhood (I admit, I read the beginning parts thinking, "Come on, Nobody's parents are THAT perfect..." but kept reading and was very pleasantly surprised to find that through the rough and sometimes painful road of reality checks coming from a world vastly different from her own, this dramatic story has portrayed a woman's journey. A journey of deep love of family and an undeniable faith in the steadfastness of her Lord. Even in the midst of coming into a Divinely ordained union with a extraordinary man of grace and purpose, and her seeming imperfections (as seen through her eyes) rising to the surface, this woman was actually just the right person to have taken this journey for all of us who read this book. In her openness, she brings us all through this journey into her final ascension - HER place of Grace -- the place of complete peace because she has arrived at a true belief and trust in her Lord.
Through My Eyes-Through His Eyes by Diane Singleton gives hope to all First Ladies, whether of Business, Industry or Ministry. Even gentlemen will come away with (hopefully) a renewed understanding of a woman's transition into a wife of purpose. No matter who you are, you will find your place here and realize that you are not by yourself. This book is very well written, beautifully typeset, and very easy on the eyes. But be warned: though you may find yourself wanting to read this in one night, because it is a captivating read, but will soon discover that this is so intricate that you need to invest the time to absorb the life changing lessons contained within these pages.

This book will inspire you to move beyond your obstacles, achieve any goals you may have set and thought it was unreachable, enjoy the ride.
