Tibet, Lamplight Unto a Darkened World - The American Delusion a Parody of Life: Book II - Messenger of the Gods (Bk. 2)

Three intertwined story lines weave a rich tapestry of life in America ….in a stunning novel of unvarnished truth. Heralded as the landmark novel of our times, it is a factually accurate work of “historical fiction,” covering the 1970’s to present day. How can the Dalai Lama, and Tibetan Buddhists live fulfilling and happy lives in the face of brutal cultural and societal genocide? This, the author uncovers; as he illustrates skillfully and subtly, the parallels in American life. This cautionary tale, gallops through international intrigue that would make La Carre proud. How is “ Tibet, The Lamplight Unto a Darkened World?” By showing “The American Delusion” for what it is, and threading through nefarious plots that are meant to breed complacency, and “dumbing down,” into our culture. Thus is the return to the values of America ’s proud past, by standing up for Tibet ’s future. “ Tibet : Lamplight Unto a Darkened World….The American Delusion, a Parody of Life. BOOK I: Kathmandu Karma” Begins the protagonist’s life journey; from beginning, to the doorstep of the “Roof of the World;” Lhasa, Tibet . “ Tibet : Lamplight Unto a Darkened World….The American Delusion, a Parody of Life. BOOK II: Messenger of the Gods” Completes his journey; through dawning awareness of the true reality of our world, to the floor of the United Nations. Who are the puppets, and who holds their strings? The reader winds through surprising twists, as the writer navigates through the maze of our modern world…..increasing the reader’s knowledge in the process.

5Stunning conclusion to Book I: Kathmandu Karma  Sep 29, 2009
Book I takes a while to get into; but like a James Michener book, when it gets rolling it steam rolls over you here in Book II.
Don't think they could be shorter, and still have the necessary depth to support the enormous breadth of this panoramic view of America over the past 50 years. Stellar stuff. It makes sense out of all of the nonsensical drama we are presently enveloped within.
AND, it was fun to read! :-)
