Path of Transformation Oct 10, 2007 Dr. Jacob Zighelboim is more than an oncologist at a top-notch cancer research center, UCLA. He is a healer that describes the journey of life and the path to transform oneself. He does so in the context of being a healer for patients going through major life changes as a result of cancer treatment.
As a writer, Dr. Zighelboim weaves together a tapestry of healing arts to create a wellspring. This book is truly phenomenal and will be used in my class, "Palliative Care and Spirituality."

From Fear to Awe...Health and the Healing Process Jul 26, 2007 "Jacob takes us behind the boundaries of our conscious mind; he describes a path to create meaningful change of our life condition. Told from the perspective of a healer of dis-eased energy, he observes how meaningful change usually requires some life threatening event such as cancer to awaken and energize our consciousness to commit to changing our life long destructive patterns, and negative self talk. As he describes the process it becomes apparent each of us has an inner intelligence, knowledge and intuition that can guide us to our psychological and ultimate physical recovery from years of destructive thoughts, behavior patterns and attitudes. He shares his many informative, insightful observations of the healing process based upon his personal experiences and that of many patients he has counseled. A great read to open your consciousness to unimagined change."
