A story of a Roman Catholic priest vigorously pulled from one end by his sublime yearning to serve his fellow brethren through the medium of a celibate religious life and from the other, his most natural desires and strongest physical urgings. The two conflicting forces cause within him a clash of conscience, resulting in an anguish of indecisive state of mind.
