"Shoe Lover"
This is a joyful recollection for young and old on buying your first pair of shoes. The authors vividly capture this memorable time in a little girl's life and the special memory she has of shoe shopping with her dad.I can't wait to read other books in the series!

I want new shoes!!! Excellent kids book Oct 16, 2009

"The Boro"
A heart-warming story about a little girl going to the store and getting shoes with her dad. An easy to read book for kids that flows and rhymes from page to page. The illustrations are wonderful and simplistically detailed that will grab the attention of your child as you read the words. Makes me think about the time I went to K-mart to get my first pair of converse all-stars back in the day. I sure hope the authors have more to come and build on "Today's the Day"
Stirs up favorite memories of purchasing my new shoes! Dec 17, 2009
By Kimberly Felter This is a beautifully written story about a young girl buying new shoes with her dad. The story stirred up memories of going shopping with my dad when I was young and buying new shoes. What excitement in the heart on those days! My children love this book and cannot wait for the next one. The illustration is wonderful and descriptive. A perfect book for young and old, boy or girl!
My trip down memory lane. Dec 02, 2009

I can't wait to read this book to my niece's. As I read the book it actually made me think about my first time getting a new "fancy" pair of shoes. Oh the excitement! the many empty boxes from shoes I tried on, and best of all was being able to pick my own shoes. The graphics are so nice, and the book will be fun to read out loud, especially for Auntie's and Grandmother's.
