Towards Enlightenment: Essays on Essential Elements of Awareness

Have you ever noticed that some people seem to be much more at peace than others? Have you noticed that these same people rarely get upset, and almost always have smiles on their faces? What is the secret to their inner peace? Scott Bogart answers these questions in his book Towards Enlightenment: Essays on Essential Elements of Awareness. The key to feeling more peace is to have greater awareness of the reality behind the interactions between your conscious mind and what appears to be outside stimulus. Through a series of easy-to-read essays, awareness of many of these realities are brought to light, culminating in what can only be described as movement towards enlightenment. What elements in your life do you believe are standing between you and your inner peace? Chances are when you bring your beliefs into the light of awareness you will obliterate old beliefs that are no longer serving you and you will experience more peace and joy.

5Fantastic!  Jul 14, 2009
By ANNE OCONNOR "DancingTurtles"
Towards Enlightenment by Scott Bogart is a fantastic collection of insightful, well-written essays. The author uses personal examples to effectively illustrate the concepts. One such example is the moment in which he realizes the effect that complaining has on his own happiness. His story gave me a visual image that helped emphasize the concept. The stories are told with an honesty, integrity and sense of humor that delivers the truths in an accessible format. I would highly recommend this book.
