Tracy Loves Ray review Mar 10, 2009

I enjoyed finding parts of the story that I knew must've related to the song. I especially like the portion of text where the actual format of the story switched to Tracy writing letters to Ray. It's interesting to me that the author chose that format, it's not something I've ever really seen before, and I have read a lot of novels in my day. In addition, I also appreciated the conflict between Tracy and Ray, although I wonder if there might've been more literary meat to these and the supporting characters. I also felt relieved that the art work was not overdone; it fit the story! Finally, I thought the novella rounded out nicely with the party scene (I don't want to say too much and give away the ending to someone who hasn't read the book yet). Well done, to the songwriter and to the author!
A sure winner!! Mar 03, 2009
By J. McGuire A good story based on a good song! (though it's usually the other way around) Easy reading and heartwarming. It's nice to see one person's creativity taken to another level by someone else's imagination.

By M. Haas Tracy Loves Ray is a light read, written with heart. It leaves the reader with a guaranteed good feeling and revolves around a touching ritual between two people whose love is enduring. This story reminds us that true love is not only romance but also that which grows over time.

By Gloria A. Child It was a real good love story and it also has me eating at restaurants a lot more. I like the song that the book is based on.
