Deep and inspiring, if only those words could have a stronger menaing. This book is just my thoughts and feelings are speaking to me through Jonathan's words. It would almost be scary if I couldn't help but enjoy this book so much. The way the artwork coincides with the poems is just another wonderful mystery that allows me to wonder how far the depths of the mind behind this book consists of. And if only I could write forever, that would be the room I need for the talent that this artist, Patrick Smith, is capable of portraying. These boys have a future, and I cannot wait to see it.

"Mentor"
This poetry book expresses the true feelings of a young man who wrestled with many demons and won the battle. To be able to put his thoughts into words and then follow through with his dream to publish is extraordinary. I am so proud of Jonathan and Patrick who captured Jonathan's words in the beautiful illustrations. We hope to see more work in the future.

If the cover art was not enough for my mind to blow, then I do not know how I am able to write this review with breath, because the poetry has taken mine away. Such thought put behind every page, the art, the poems, the detail, everything this book has to offer is just simply amazing. I highly recommend this book to anyone who likes anything. I am serious, this book is just simply amazing.

I took a chance on this new author and I have never made a finer decision in my life. Jonathan's poetry is spellbinding from beginning to end. Every line has such meaning that overcomes my emotions with an unimaginable feeling of hope, joy, power, love, and wonder beyond all beliefs. And the art leaves me speechless. The talent the artist has is simply incredible. These boys have a bright future ahead of them, and it all starts with this book that only leaves me with one word to describe it; phenomenal.
