This book was a great read. It was laced with painful honesty, disappointments and triumphs. I am reading the book for a second time now.

Dear Heyward
I just finished reading your book! It is the best"read" I have read in a long time. I would say since I read Dee Brown's "Bury My Heart at Wounded Knee" Okay, I know it is difficult to compare the two books-but maybe not.
Anyway, I laughed, cried, got mad and laughed again when reading the last chapter, on your trip back to Montana to reconnect with Newell.
You have a very understanding wife.
