Troutfly: Courage and Sacrifice of Fathers and Sons

Clayton Harcourt's quiet life in a remote Idaho cabin comes to an abrupt end when the memory of his father's sacrifice in Vietnam lures him back into the espionage game. A global terrorist network threatens a presidential election. Intrigue, conspiracy, greed, and corruption spread from Cairo, Riyadh, Hong Kong,London, and around the world to Washington DC. The nation's capital is under siege. TOVAIR’s deceptive maneuvers roil capital markets. Elected officials are in harms' way. Only the dedication and loyalty of quiet professionals can avert a national disaster. Courage, leadership and honor transcend generations linking fathers and sons in the quest to preserve freedom and Western civilization.

Rosa is a friend of mine and an inspiration to many people like me who pursue writing, but have not reached her level of intrigue and fast-paced action. This book is a page-turner.

3too predictable  Aug 03, 2009

I wanted to love this book. Fly fishing and espionage. What could be better? But I liked it but didn't love it. I liked the style of wrting but the dang plot was just too predicatable. It needed a bit more action and needed to keep me guessing past the second chapter. Good luck for the remaining two books.

4Fiction...or not?  Nov 03, 2008

For those whose have interests in national security and emerging future threats (and maybe just if you like fly fishing), this is a great world spanning page turner. Who is the next big threat after Al Quaeda? Read this book.
