Twisted to the Extreme Jul 27, 2005
By Dennis Duncan I will start by saying that this book isn't for everyone. Twisted Loneliness is as hardcore as it comes. It is a Short Story collection that will have you fighting back the bile in your throat. I wouldn't suggest picking it up unless you have a very strong stomach.
Joe was kind enough to send me a signed copy, and after finishing it I will say that Joe is right up there with Edward Lee, Wrath James White, and Monica J. O'Rourke. He knows how to write a story that will make you squirm in your seat.
There was stories like The Closet that almost made me vomit, and others like The Puzzle, that were truly haunting and beautiful, and still others like Ollie and the Monster and Death Metal that creeped me out. Joe knows how to make you go through a Roller Coaster of emotions while your reading his work, and that is a sign of a really great Writer.
I recommend Twisted Loneliness to anyone that can handle it. It is Hardcore to the Extreme. It will stay with me for a long time.
Thanks Joe for some truly unpleasant memories.
You Rock.

"some decent chick"
I agree, not for everyone, just for everyone who knows that they enjoy that book (and other things perhaps)thats a little off.Ok, a lot off. Short stories, easy reads,I laughed,I gagged,I wished I could see some people I know in such awful situations. yeah, thats right i said it. If you think a guy who talks to a hooker's head in the fridge is funny like I do,as long as there is ample room for beer, then you better get ur paws on this rad book.NOW!!!!
What Can I Say About Joe Knetter? Sep 05, 2008
By Joseph McGee
"Author"
Knetter's a freaky SOB, that's for sure! He's collection of shorts is that of gore, horror, and twisted weirdness. If you're in for a freaky ride, Joe Knetter Express is the bus to take you there. This book is filled with such gorified stories and horrific monstrosities that just cannot be turned down; it will keep you afraid and wondering thoughts in the back of your mind well after you finish the last page. Twsited Loneliness is not a book to miss! Grab it while you can!
