5Will draw you in until the very last page...  Jun 25, 2007
By H. Fazio "DocumentBandit.com"
From the moment I opened the first page, I was immediately drawn into the scenery and the characters. I felt like I was in the South, sitting in the same room as they were, seeing what they were seeing. Under the Liberty Oak is a page turner, and Paige Cummings writes beautifully and I want a sequel! Highly recommended.

5Excellent read  Jul 29, 2007
By A. Zastera
I loved this book and couldn't put it down. It was an excellent mystery with a great story going between the present and 1964. I appreciate all of the descriptions and beautiful words. It made me feel like I was right there with the characters. I can't wait for either more about Brittan Lee or more from the author.

5Great read, looking forward to more...  Jul 20, 2011
By Ken Duke
Under the Liberty Oak is an entertaining mystery story. It is set in southeast Georgia around the Marshes of Glynn and will surely be enjoyed by anyone who enjoys the coastal south. You can smell the marsh in the descriptive passages and really feel the moss covered heaviness of the laid back south. Shrimp and grits, marsh grass honey, pluff-mud, spanish moss and live oaks, it's all in there. The undercurrents of mystery and secrets keeps you turning the pages. The book gives you a feel for the history, culture and traditions that make the area unique. Can't wait for More Brittan Lee, please...

5A genuine southern gem  Jul 06, 2011
By D. A. Crossley, Jr. "soilmite"
Paige Mercer Cummings is a southern writer of considerable power. Her characters reach out to you, and her story line will pull you right in. The promise of sequels to these characters (Brittan Lee Georgia Coastal Mysteries) ensures that we'll be tracking the author from now on! Brittian Lee is a southern powerhouse, energetic, protective of her roots. Don't miss this one!

4Very Nice Read  Oct 23, 2008
By Melissa LeGette
I really liked it. Being Southern myself, I found the Southern family to be very believable. Brittan Lee's mother was wonderful. I got pulled into the adventure and mystery of a past murder and enjoyed the ride.
