Must read - - excellent guidance Sep 22, 2010

I have read this book and participated in one of the Generals training sessions. To date, have referred to the textbook, guessing, 15 to 20 times over the past 8 years. It is exceptionally well written, easy to follow and gives (no suprise) very solid guidance on the movement from vision to execution. Too many leaders today want to deliver a brilliant power point on the vision, but do not want to touch the details (execution).......V to E gives you the path to understand why you must do both. Highly recommend it.

Vision to Execution is an excellent manual that will help all leaders be more successful. Marv has done a great job providing a prescription for todays leaders in helping them to understand more cohesively what it is that they are responsible for, and how to utilize the authority that comes with the position. Setting strategies, and addressing the underpinnings within an organization is key. A must have and must read for any one in a leadership position that is faced with many of todays challenges of leading.
