Walking On Water: A Pastor's Wife: Journey of Faith

Subtle and disarming, Walking on Water by Kristen Zuray is about learning how to have grace under fire. It is about life in the Church, of being a pastor’s wife and even when the going is rough, to strike a balance between God’s work and her family. With nearly a decade in the trenches, the author knows firsthand the uncertainties and trials that women go through as the spouses of pastors. Being a pastor is more than a job, it is a lifestyle and being the wife of a pastor is just that. It is a commitment to do God’s work at any cost. It is late nights, it is congregant needs; it is pressure, protocol and faith. With chapter titles such as “The Call to be a Pastor’s Wife,” “The Temple of God” and “The Balancing Act,” women are empowered and led to grace. Perfect for pastors’ wives who are just starting out, this self-help book also serves as an encouragement to the veteran pastors’ wife to simply keep walking the faith.

5A good book to read and keep!  Dec 17, 2008
This is such a good book for new Pastor's wives, seasoned Pastor's wives and also members. The book has the author's own personal circumstances yet you are able to relate each one to yourself and better understand the challenges a Pastor's wife and her husband are facing in the ministry. It is a very easy to read book and also a good book to have on your shelf to refer back to in the years to come.

5Walking on Water  Dec 15, 2008
For a first time writer, the book is fairly well written.. Easy reading and interesting. -- I feel it is a good book for both the layperson and the full time christian worker's wives to read. Handy hints and examples of both her life and how to aply the same principlies to the readers life. It is well worth the money and I hope you enjoy the book too.
