Walking the Walk with God's Kid

This a true story about a girl who grew up in poverty, isolation and abuse. She escaped into an inter-racial marriage at the age of 17 and was a battered wife for fifteen years.

She became a sucessful real estate broker who lived a double life. Over the years she looked for love in all the wrong places, with all the wrong people for all the wrong reasons.

Broken and suicidal she turned to alcohol for relief and trashed her career, home and family. She did not make plans for her future and she drank until she couldn't get drunk.

Desperate, she made a phone call for help. 1981. She found a new way of life for over twenty-two years with help from Alcoholics Anonymous and her Higher Power.
