A Great Fantasy Novel Sep 30, 2006
By Sadyll Chic Warrior of the Three Moons is an excellent read, a coming of age story contained within a heroic fantasy. The Author has built a fantasy world of complexity with societies of depth and peopled with three dimensional characters you can empathise with.
I look forward to the next book in the series being published so I can continue reading the story.

Lessons in honor Oct 06, 2006
By Uncle Snark This is a terrific read. The character development is phenomenal and the strength of the author's research into Celtic/Gaelic culture is obvious. The examples of the strong code of honor that many of the characters in this book possess and their efforts to understand the motivations and circumstances of their enemies are lessons that would serve contemporary society very well. I can't wait for the next two books in this series to be published
Spellbinding Tale of Courage and Honor in the Face of Evil May 24, 2011
By Kathleen O'Connor Warrior of the Three Moons, the first book of the God Wars of Ithir Series is the story of Ciaran, a young Scotti warrior, chosen by the Goddess, Danu to be her champion in the battle against the forces of Darkness. In order to successfully fill his role, against seemingly insurmountable odds, Ciaran must first find the lost Sunspear. What makes Warrior of the Three Moons stand out is the detail the author uses to sketch the richness of the world against which the story unfolds, replete with The Celtae, Ring Lords, Shadow Trolls, Skull Warriors, Shadow Priests, Elves, Faery Folk and Trollhounds. Interlaced at every turn of the plot throughout this story are the women: among others, Kiara, Ciaran's shield sister, Scathach, the Blademaster, Rillsong, the Faery Princess, and Isengael, the Shadow Druidess. The characters are complex and believable giving depth to the story. Warrior of the Three Moons leaves the reader eagerly wanting more and waitng with anticipation for the next book in the series.
Robert Jordan??? Jan 21, 2007

I've read a lot of Robert Jordan stuff. This book reads a lot like one of The Wheel of Time series. The story is different, somewhat. A lot of the catch phrase descriptions are very, very simular if not identical. I have given it a four star rating instead of five because of that.
I eagerly await books 2 and 3! Oct 25, 2006

I thoroughly enjoyed this book. The writer brought to life another world peopled with multi-dimensional humans, both good and bad. The character development and plot development made this a hard book to put down. Even the descriptions of this new world were vivid and apt. I raced through it in 6 days. This may be Mr. Robertson's first published novel, but I suspect it will not be his last!
