My Thought On Warriors Without Armor Dec 28, 2009
By Ralph Brock I very much enjoyed reading this book. Having come of age in the 60's, I spent nearly half of that era in the military and half ot that time overseas where the access of news came through military newspapers and journals. I was always fascinated with the events of the decade and have read a lot and seen most of the movies related to the assissinations of these leaders. My interest was more of social ramifications involved rather than the technical aspects of the various murders such as the Magic Bullet theory with JFK or how Sirhan got close enough to RFK to end his life and the same goes for MLK, Malcom X and Metger Evans. The author clearly paints a picture of how the deaths of these men affected our social fabric for years to come as well as how he personally was affected by the deaths and how to this day all of our lives have been changed. There was a great advantage to the author for living in California when all of these events took place as he was able to hear the influential speakers of the times first hand. The author also masterfully interweaves his own personal life into the book to give the reader a clear picture of how the event affected him as he was going through his own life. He describes in detail the twists and turns of all these events.I highly recommend reading this book if you have any interest at all in the history of the decade of the 60's. You will not be disappointed.....Ralph Brock
